Brett Kirk

Brett Kirk (AFL Premiership and All Australian player, Co-Captain of the Sydney Swans)

Brett is an inspiring and authentic speaker. Dedication, discipline, consistency and courage are words often used to describe the "spiritual leader" of the Sydney Swans. His "never give up" attitude and strong work ethic has resulted in him being rated one the best leaders in the AFL. Brett is a well sought after speaker. He was chosen to introduce His Holiness the Dalai Lama to over 30,000 people. In the corporate world he has assisted business leaders by providing practical and insightful advice which has had an enormous impact on performance.

Michael Rennie

Michael Rennie (Managing Director of McKinsey & Company, Australia)

Michael has held a number of senior roles at McKinsey's including global leader of McKinsey's Organisation Behaviour Practice which specialises in organisational leadership, performance culture improvement and behavioural change. His distinctiveness comes from the combination of his experience in traditional business consulting and his own personal transformational journey that saw him overcome a life threatening cancer in his mid 30's. The result is a unique ability to tie 'hard' business reality and 'soft' human factors together seamlessly, creating space for teams and individuals to challenge themselves at extremely deep levels and grow commensurately.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Michael was an attorney with Australia's leading law firm, Freehills.  He studied languages and history in Zurich, Switzerland and law and economics in Australia.  He has an MA in economics and philosophy from Oxford where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.

Barry Edwards

Barry Edwards (former Training Manager for Emirates Airlines and People Development Manager for Sun Microsystems - Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa)

Barry is a brilliant world class speaker, presenter and consultant in the field of personal transformation and leadership development.
He has 26 years' experience in successfully restructuring and developing more than 80 international businesses and their organisational cultures. Barry has provided management consultancy spanning multiple disciplines including performance management, coaching, team-building and personal transformation. He has led over 850 workshops and trained and coached over 35,000 executives, managers and staff.

Symposium Convener - David Carman

David Carman (Owner and Director of CarmanWhite)

David is a renowned facilitator, management consultant, and trainer.  David is a very grounded, genuine and goal orientated person who has personally led over 375 workshops, trained and coached over 8,000 executives, managers and staff. He specialises in transformational learning, with 16 years' experience in successfully increasing the capability of local and international businesses. David is very passionate about making workplaces a better place to be and expanding the level of self awareness of leaders, managers and staff.

Mini Session - Ross Wyatt

Ross Wyatt (General Manager of Net Balance Foundation)

Ross Wyatt has over 25 years experience in senior marketing and sustainability roles which has included management of some of Australia's highest profile brands, and leadership of a major charity organisation, Starlight Children's Foundation. In this role he has worked with many major corporations, assisting them in the development and implementation of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategies.

Ross will speak on "Our Authentic Commitment to Sustainability." He will facilitate a 20 minute high impact session on the role and responsibility of a leader in creating a sustainable future.
